Self-portraits

Each year on his birthday, Viskum goes to a workshop in Paris where a silicon cast is made of him in a particular pose. The cast becomes part of a larger installation where he presents himself in various contexts. Each of these installations contains an encrypted but not secret narrative, laden with personal and collective meaning often associated with current events.

Below you can see selected artworks by Morten Viskum. This website is being continually expanded, and many more works by Viskum will be added soon.
