Morten Viskum works in a wide range of expressions: from conceptually based objects, installations, and performance to paintings, prints, and photographs. His work holds a unique position in the Norwegian art scene, and his choice of materials, themes, and artistic media can be said to differ significantly from other contemporary Norwegian art. Viskum’s unconventional art practice continues to provoke, create debate, and generate curiosity.
